Turbine Diagnostic Services (TDS) is a field service company servicing power generation equipment. TDS was formed in 1998 and has grown exponentially to date.

TDS responds to customer forced outage needs on a 24hr basis. When calling our emergency service phone number, you will almost always be answered by one of our engineers. If not, we are probably already on the phone, so please leave a voice mail and the engineer on call will return your call shortly if not immediately.

TDS has grown from a single man operation to a staff of Startup Engineers, Mechanical Turbine Engineers, Mechanical Turbine Representatives, Generator Engineers/Specialists, Excitation Control Engineers, Turbine Controls Engineers and Control & Vibration Technicians and a crew of Turbine Millwrights. TDS provides qualified engineering, supervision, and labor for the purpose of providing quality turbine generator services to the power generation industry.

TDS works closely with customers during normal operating periods, forced outages, and planned outages to support our customer's needs under all circumstances. TDS can provide customers with full service coverage, conduct planning, parts procurement, labor, and job management functions, or only emergency needs for mechanical or controls forced outage services required for steam and gas turbine generators. TDS can provide all on site troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair services for the steam or gas turbine and generator components. TDS can support special repair needs with additional shop repair services, as required.

TDS maintains the mechanical tools, vibration analysis, electrical testing, calibration and diagnostic equipment to conduct thorough diagnostic inspections of the turbine, generator and controls in operation or while shut down.

TDS provides troubleshooting capabilities to assist in diagnosing problems related to the proper operation of and maintenance of steam and gas turbine and generator equipment. TDS specializes in vibration analysis and multi-plane balancing of multi-shaft turbine generators with state of the art diagnostic equipment. TDS has the capability of servicing a wide range of steam and gas turbine controls and subsystem operational support.

Controls inspection, troubleshooting and calibration services are available for mechanical hydraulic, analog EHC, and digital EHC turbine controls and Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) systems. TDS can provide new control system options for upgrades and retrofit projects.

Our In Service Inspection (ISI) Program is recognized by the insurance industry as an acceptable regular inspection and documentation of unit performance to justify extension of outage cycles based on the current performance and operational trends of the machine.

TDS has a facility in Brooksville Florida 45 miles north of Tampa. This facility is equipped with a small machine shop for fabrication and storage of our turbine outage tools and outage support equipment.

TDS has just moved our offices to our new manufacturing facility in Odessa Florida, 20 miles north of Tampa. This is the location where we are manufacturing our new DCS Digital Steam & Gas Turbine Generator and Balance of Plant Control System. Our new system is called the TurboNet Dash 1.
